Model for Operational Oceanography in the Gulf of Finland
The Operational Oceanographic System of the Gulf of Finland provides forecasts of temperature, salinity and sea level and consists of:
– 3D hydrodynamical model of the Gulf of Finland (GOFM);
– 3D hydrodynamical model of the Baltic Sea (HIROMB);
– atmospheric model (HIRLAM);
– block of assimilation of the observation data.
